NOTES/ JOURNal entire
My first thoughts were what a name. I didn't know what to expect from this book. A library full books, but were those babel fit in. I had to actually find a reading of the story on youtube in order to full understand and picture what i was reading. Th universe, also know as the Library , is made up of series of identical hexagon shaped rooms. each room has four walls of books, tiny closet like space for sleeping. The hallways contain spiral staircases, which lead up and down to other identical levels. When the narrator was a young boy he went in search of a book. Now that he no longer has control over what his write but he is prepared to die a view blocks in the hexagon were he was born. There are five shelf's for each of the hexagons walls each shelf contains 35 book of format each book of 410 pages each page of 40 lines each line some 80 letters which are black in color. There are also letters on the spin of each book. This letter do not indicate or prefigure what the pages will say almost making it a mystery. The narrator feels that man the imperfect librarian might be the product of chance to save the universe. It was not on till 500 yea ago that a chief of and upper hexagon came upon a book as confusing as the other, but had nearly two pages of homogeneous lines he then show his lines to a wandering Dakota which told him it was written in Portuguese but others said it was ye dish. Some examples of variations and other examples made it possible for a librarian of genesis to discovery the fundamental law of the library. The stinker observed that all the books no matter how diverse they might be are made up of the same elements. The space, the period, the comma, the 22 letters of the alphabet. He also alleged a fact which travelers have confirmed. In the vases library there are no two identical books. The human race is now on the verge of extinction, the narrator says, though he is sure the library will last forever. In closing he explains how he is able to think of the library as infinite, though it contains a finite number of books the solution is that it must be periodic. He also add that it's shells register all the possible combinations of the 20 odd graphical symbols. Everything the future , the art angles autobiographic, the faithful catalogs of the library, the thousands and thousands of false catalogs , the demonstrations of the falesia of those catalogs, the translate of every book in every language ect..
